All ionic silver is made using the silver and water but there are many important things to know.

What is the purity of the silver used, .999 or .9999 (.9999 is best)

How pure (distilled) is the water that was used? (using a TDS meter it should be zero)

Any contamination will cause the particle size produced to be larger than needed/wanted. I understand it is this larger particle size which makes the silver too large to pass through the body, causing it to get trapped under the skin and turning people grey.

Many people add stuff to the ionic silver afterwards to make what they call colloidal silver. The term colloidal silver is not very clearly used and the more research you do you will understand what I am talking about. It reminds me of how so many pastors use the term tithing and offering in their service as if they are the same thing, but they are not.

I completely agree with this film...

...Absolutely honest. And I'm afraid it's mostly due to making medicine a "for profit" business...

There are MANY cases like this and worse.

Here's a GREAT article from the Wall Street Journal...

...Verrry interesting.

I recently found more information on this topic that others might find interesting.

Quote:
There are dozens if not hundreds of products on the market advertised as being colloidal silver generators. Such products can be high or low voltage AC or DC and all operate by electrolysis to produce mostly silver ions and some silver nanoparticles. The ionic silver solutions produced by these generators are no less effective than the best commercial ionic silver products. If you believe the marketing hype for ionic silver from the companies on this list there is no reason that you would not want to consider using a home colloidal silver generator and save a lot of money. While the effectiveness of ionic silver is far less than a true colloidal silver product, if you are satisfied with the results obtained from using ionic silver there is no need to pay high prices for one of the commercial products when you make virtually the same thing at home for pennies. Of course the commercial producers will try to wow you with their techno-babble nonsense to convince you that their products are superior. Many commercial ionic silver products are produced using colloidal silver generators that are sold for home use.

Here is what wouldn't fit in the previous post with the forums character limits:

Quote:
Typical ionic silver products contain between 3 and 20 ppm of ionic silver which would not cause argyria.
Ingestion of highly concentrated forms of ionic silver (100 ppm and above) may cause argyria, a permanent discoloration of the skin.

While looking through some of my posts from the beginning of this thread, I see that I mentioned about the fact I would use the nebulizer to take 5ml as a maintenance dose. I'm not sure when I stopped taking a maintenance dose, but I stopped sometime ago. I do though use the ionic silver when I have a problem that others have said they successfully have used ionic silver it to treat. ;)

A vaporizer often uses a heat element to boil the liquid and the heat will change the structure of the ionic silver. I use a nebulizer myself since a nebulizer does not use heat, only high pressure air.

Next time anyone in my family needs to go in the hospital, I'll take a bottle with my ionic silver to spray on all the bedding and such myself. Maybe even to the hotels too.

Quote:
SilvaClean, according to the company, is a patented water-based ionic silver treatment that provides the highest level of protection to laundered healthcare textiles. SilvaClean works on a wide range of fabric items by imparting lasting antimicrobial properties to the items each time they are laundered, protecting them in transport, storage and use from infection-causing bacteria and fungi.

These fabric items include multiple key patient and healthcare worker touch points such as patient bedding, gowns, bath towels, worker scrubs and privacy curtains, says the company.

“SilvaClean reduces more than 99.9% of bacteria, virtually eliminating the risk that unhygienic textiles pose to healthcare environments,” says Sean Morham, CEO of Applied Silver.

Published research shows that one-third of the textiles in the hospital studied showed meaningful amounts of the superbug MRSA. Contracting MRSA can increase a patient’s chance of acquiring a staph infection within the following 12 months. The company says that treating hospital textiles with silver ions (used in SilvaClean) immediately following the washing process results in a significant decrease in microbial contamination, both before and after patient use.
