Quote: Monitoring Sites All Active : 284 Active Private: 56 Active EPA Beta: 43 Active EPA Gamma: 102 Active Japan Limited: 83 Active Japan Full: 2697
This is as of Jan 9 - so the number of monitoring sites is up by 57 total since last week,NOT counting Japan Full. The number of private sites is up by 7 in the last week, and the number of new members is increasing by about 1 per hour - over 200 new members in 10 days.
Thanks for keeping up the count for me, I mailed 10 last week and only seven are connected. Where are the other three. If you need help please email me at staff@netc.comThis week on Monday, I mailed six more units and on Wednesday 3 more units and I have two more units to build for Friday. Thank God for the weekend ! It looks like the Tucson station is back? And I see that the two at the bottom of Texas are back on again. So, you see that the EPA Gamma sites are up from 104 to 107 now. That was speedy service.

Check the San Diego EPA Gamma 5 site for the 3-day offline pattern. The one that is now at NETC red-and-yellow-RADCON-3

Hello, this is an odd RAD alert for station 1:EB745515 today. I have some questions regarding this, please assist. 1) I know that this is listed as an unreliable station, but why cancel the alert of a station that went from 30cpm for the last months to 120 today, and is still reading 120 Cpm as of this post.
2) The station unit, on Google, is shown as being at FIAirport. I have reason to believe this is location is inaccurate.
3) It would be helpful if the operator would list what the unit is and where it is. While I am extremely grateful that someone private is willing to do this (I am gathering my finances to do so myself) it does grate on me somewhat that the EPA does not have a unit here in the largest land mass area unserved in the entire USA (non-CONUS, I know)
4) How can I assist? I will be ordering a 300/320unit and RPI very soon.

I did not know when I joined that I could join and post without paying the (small amount) of $19.95/year. So I did, right away.
And found out that the whole map chart changed when I could access as a paid member. I played with everything, looked at data from every angle I could, and then discovered the ABSOLUTE button. This feature, when used, gives the number/color/cpm correlation that several folks are looking for and not seeing - so their frustration levels keep rising.
Is it possible that some of these frustrated folks cannot see or use the ABSOLUTE feature to the right of the map for the paid members, thus seeing the color/cpm connection, because they are not paid members?

No, I believe there is so much information and many post wanting quick answers without first knowing the basics. As for the ABSOLUTE feature, it has been talked about many times along with at least one thread just talking about that feature. It Will take time and patience but I believe people will understand this information the more they look at it. Reading previous posts on this forum always helps too. https://www.netc.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=425

I wish the public would donate the cost of maintaining this Netc.com service and pay for the programming team, so I would not have to charge for those feature that you have found in the Chart Membership. The "Absolute Map" was developed with the money from the Chart Membership. The videos on YouTube showing the changing radiation levels in Japan and the US was developed with the money too. So if the public will not donate, Netc.com service would not continue, is that what you want? Harlan, President of Netc
