While watching the video of them tearing apart the plutonium processing plant, you can see large water sprayers. Those sprayers are obviously being used during the demolition process to reduce the airborne radiation contamination. You can see a picture of it from the video here: https://ibb.co/evxPmb

The full safety propaganda video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL9QXOihppc

Hanford Disaster: What Happens to Someone Who's Exposed to Plutonium?

All radioactive material, as it decays, can cause harm. As unstable radioactive isotopes, or versions of an element with different molecular weights, decay into slightly more stable versions, they release energy. This extra energy can either directly kill cells or damage a cell's DNA, fueling mutations that may eventually lead to cancer.

QUOUTE: "SPOKANE -- Seven decades after making key portions of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan, workers at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation are being exposed to radiation as they tear down buildings that helped create the nation's nuclear arsenal.

Dozens of workers demolishing a plutonium processing plant from the 1940s have inhaled or ingested radioactive particles in the past year, and even carried some of that radiation into their vehicles, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

The incidents have prompted the federal government, along with state regulators, to halt the demolition of the sprawling Plutonium Finishing Plant until a safe plan can be developed."

Notice how the article above says that some workers have carried the radiation in to their vehicles. I had previously read that they carried it on their vehicles outside of the plant. It would be stupid for us to believe that this radiation contamination didn't get carried with the wind well outside the Handford facility.
