Just change my home air filter,my background radiation is 32 inside my house.....my AC 3M 1900 filter was 154 CPM...so I guess these air filters really work well....my PRM 9000 alarm works as well....

If the filter's count rate has not gone down by now then....that is alarming. Can you send the filter somewhere to be tested? It is important to know exactly what the filter contains.

BE VERY CAREFUL with that filter unit as you never know what may be trapped in it... Everyone should take precautions when handling any air filter.

Although it may be nothing if something "hot" is trapped these filters can be dangerous to handle.

There are a few people out there that do this kind of testing quickly and independently...

AntiProtons:

Tom is a great independent source of information for this and may accept the filter(s) and test them quickly.

I included Tom because of his knowledge and equipment, his dedication to this subject and his independent status.Tom would be a prime candidate for initial testing and could easily forward the filter(s) elsewhere for verification!

Chris Busby:

In case you don't know who this is...

Tested many filters from Japan after the accident. Many results are on youtube and elsewhere on the net...

Busby obtained a BSc in Chemistry with First Class Honours from the University of London and holds a PhD in chemical physics.

Chris is well known for his abilities and his willingness to accept air filters for testing.

Fairwinds:

I think everyone here knows of or has at least heard of "Arnie" Gundersen.

http://www.ask.com/wiki/Arnold_Gundersen?lang=en

As Arnie is a "expert witness", he is "the top of the ladder" when it comes to independent, evidence based protocols in the US...

My personal hope is that we can find someone to test these filters for individual isotopes and put in place solid protocols to catalog (and handle) the filters and units (safely and accurately) in the very near future.

And by the way...

With the right gear you can find this out by downloading a free program called...

Theremino

Click below to find out how to set this up...

...you may have to switch the language to English by clicking the American Flag at the top of the page.

Free, expert level stuff here so its a matter of "how far" you want to go down the rabbit hole...

Good Luck!
