Should I be concerned about the radiation levels at this site? It's just south of Los Angeles.

If your in Watsonville, no.
If a few others in OC/LA start rising, well that's different.

It is a private station, ID '1'.

I have relatives in the area, and the level continues to rise... Is there a technical reason this could be a false reading?

yes, that's a tough call, I too have relatives close by. Mine are not to 'nukish', so I'll leave them be for now.
Sometimes a failing unit just goes high-high, out of range.
Sometimes, they just slowly rise out of range over a few hours/days.

Hopefully the owner will notice and post if it is real, I think it may not be.
Without their input, it's all guess work.

They have contacted Netc.com and we will see if we can help them. All the other sites in Los Angles is OK, so do not worry.
