Post subject:  Mazur 9000 Geiger Counter Battery Change - BE CAREFUL!

Today I took my 9V battery out of my Mazur 9000 to make sure it does not leak in there. I thought some here might like to see inside of my Mazur 9000 since there seems to be no picture online that I can find.

If I knew this is how I would have to change the battery, I doubt that I would have bought it.

Don't forget the 60-day warranty on the GM tube. :(

That's a nice survey meter! I've looked at them... They use the LND7317 which is a large mica window tube. Quite sensitive and does Alpha and Beta in addition to the gammas.

..question...
There was a Mazur associated with one of the nuke companies/organizations... I can't recall which one. Do you have any info on that?
