Post subject:  RBLR is the new NORM radiation background level

I am going to change NORM ( Natural Occurring Radioactive Material ) to RBLR ( Radiation Background Level Range). So Radcon-1 will be the middle of RBLR ( Radiation Background Level Range ) and it will be compared to RBLC ( Radiation Background Level Current ). The delta change between RBLR and RBLC will set the Radcon level 2, 3, and 4. When RBLC is greater than the highest range of RBLR and other requirements are met, an Radcon-5 Alert will be issue and Email messages are sent. If the Radcon-1 is Green/Yellow, the RBLR (Radiation Background Level Range) is decreasing or staying the same level, like in Japan where most of the RBLR are Green/Yellow.

NORM ( Natural Occurring Radioactive Material ) was misinterpreted by reporters and people viewing Netc.com webpage. I had the choices between NORM and TENORM or just create my own acronym. I now see that NORM has confused many people, sorry bad choice on my part. The term TENORM ( Technologically-Enhanced, Naturally-Occurring Radioactive Material ) is Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials that have been concentrated or exposed to the accessible environment as a result of human activities such as manufacturing, mineral extraction, or water processing. I hope this new change will help the public to understand Netc.com radiation levels better.
