First you must be a RAM or Chart Member to receive text alert message.
Second your forum account must be set up with your phone number.
Go to: User Control Panel on the top of the page.
click on Profile on the left side of the page.
enter you 10 digit phone and carrier, where is says Ram Email Address.
example: 5012321478@vtext.com ( Verizon carrer )
Click on Submit at the bottom.

If you don't know the email format for your carrier, you can find it here:
http://www.emailtextmessages.com/

This is the same place other information can be displayed.

I am very sorry that due to lack of funds, Netc has cut the cost of programming any features to Wapp4netc and pi4netc software. We have not charge anyone for renewal of the Chart Membership so with a sad heart, Netc has lost their programmer. Netc has a donate button to keep up the Netc server operating for the next two years if some donations are received.

I wanted to start tracking the other radiations levels that EPA sites sends us, and I wanted to have active map where you could go back in time to any week over the last five years and see the map as of that time, but that will not happen.

So please help each other on the forum to keep the GC working and I will keep monitoring the EPA radnet stations as long as possible.

HEY, Can you give us a number, benchmark or goal we need to reach to achieve your goals? I would love to see these dreams come true. I can't volunteer much time but I can definitely give considerably more money to the cause. Let's setup an aggressive campaign that shows the goals and updates and progress both financial and work done.

I feel strongly that with the following on this site your subscribers are generous. But don't know what is needed. Thus causing a decline in support.

I know I'm one of those followers.

Ask and ye shall receive brother! Don't grow weary, you're fight is justified and you know it!

Here's a great program for this effort. The online portion is free and the credit card fees are the best around for this kind of quick program.

This could be a solution and I'll donate my time to see it get's setup correctly.

I'll also help with design and legal aspects if you wish...

...TOGETHER we can do this, and we should!!!

Check this site out and let's all get started on this very important task by donating whatever we can!!!

E-mail me and I'll send you the private (for security reasons) details of what I can do to help.

Move or delete this post as needed and...

...keep on keepin on.

Lee971 (good to hear from you) you should vent your indoor environment asap... We seem to be experiencing some good air right now in the south.

Dual charts are great!!! Especially in and outdoor reads at the same location...

...great thinking on that.

Here's my take on your reads...

Indoor:

CPM: current 25 High 25 Low 8 Average 16
This is actually in Edmond, OK. Moved so both sites in Edmond can be seen on the map. WinXP PC - connected to GMC-300 Inside house on a window sill. Approx 5ft above ground level.

And outdoor:

CPM: current 20 High 28 Low 12 Average 19
Rasberry PI - connected to GMC-200, attached to an air filter, outdoors on 2nd floor balcony. 12-31-2013 01:10:00

Appears you are getting some buildup inside...

Run the bathroom(s) fan(s) full time...

...and make sure to use outside venting over the kitchen stove and use the range fan to vent the house while your'e gone.

You can always put a fan in a window to exchange the air quickly after arriving home.

I (luckily) have a attic fan so it exchanges the air (everything "under roof") quickly.

Anyway that's what I saw. And I like the split (2 location) data....

...we need more stations like yours!

Another project for software is to get both these stations on the same location.

Anybody know google maps? If you have the time, Volunteer!!!!

~done~

Donation made to keep the server running. While I don't have much time to post these days I do try to look at this site daily and of course will keep my station running for as long as the site is here.

Thanks to Harlan for working to build this site. It truly is a shame it doesn't appear to be growing or even be self sustaining at this point.

To a post that Lee971 made:> I agree, would like to see a goal and progress chart. I donate to others with goals set to see how its going and whats still needed. Since we are now down to just keeping a server running, that's an easy goal to reach. But to get more in the bucket and have enough to keep someone interested in programming and keep and make the site even better with their time to do so, that's a never ending goal. I have been on here for some time now and enjoy this site to the max, uploading data daily, keeping track of trends and of course, the ticker that keeps us posted. I went for some time wondering why I didn't get a notice stating time to renew, then found out otherwise that it wasn't being done. My opinion, should have keep that going, renewal sent out when it was time and sorry to say, but this is what happens, like now, make everyone renew! Really! $20 a year, folks, that is not much for what we get here and share with each other.
To Harlen: > Thanks to those who are still managing this site and whats left before it dies, please keep up the great work and all the hard work that has been done. Thank you! Frank

The reason Netc did not charge each customer for another year is that I do not know if my programmer will keep working on any new ideas that I will come up with, like video radiation charts. So keep on helping and I will keep Netc running. Thanks for all your help, when you donate to Netc.
