I have a question about the time and/or time zone on NETC recordings. I thought all recordings are reported in eastern standard time. However, there are strange things.
For example, below is the table of alert sites on June 12th 12:00 pm. Why are there times like 2015-06-12 13:38:00?

List of RADCON-4 sites:
5:410 near Knoxville, TN, US 270 2015-06-11 12:42:00 I
5:501 near Chicago, IL, US 231 2015-06-12 13:17:00 G
5:505 near Madison, WI, US 358 2015-06-12 05:52:00 G
5:531 near Aurora, IL, US 237 2015-06-12 13:38:00 G
5:714 near Wichita, KS, US 330 2015-06-12 10:49:00 G
5:801 near Denver, CO, US 414 2015-06-12 01:35:00 G

Quick explanation...

http://weather.about.com/od/u/g/UTCtime.htm

...all other time scales are derived from this (Columbus?).
