Here is what the total system recorded radiation looks like around the Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant. The darker red/black is places over 1000 nSv. Chart members can bring up the same map.

With the scheduled removal (or attempt thereof) of spent fuel rods from Fukushima's unit 4 come November, I thought a screen shot was long over due.
For those non-chart members viewing this screen shot, this is a screen shot off NETC using the chart members ABSOLUTE feature which shows the radiation stations compared to the total amount of radiation recorded. This feature helps greatly in seeing what stations/areas have increased radiation levels over time.

This absolute feature can also be used on the U.S. map too, as seen below:
