I thought it would be nice to start a thread to save a few screen snap shots of Fukushima's values using NETC absolute feature. This will allow me, and other chart members, to easily see a rise in total levels at some of these stations.

Guess it's time to implement this suggestion, and maybe on an daily basis for the current situation. The Eureka, CA monitor reached rad4 and then went inactive a day ago. Timing is convenient. Darn my suspicious mind.

In addition, the Miami 5:406 meter went inactive two days ago after exhibiting interesting data patterns over the last week. If one looks at that graph, it resembles nothing so much as a rythmic slow motion shell game: put a light cover on for an hour or two, remove when the counts go down.

In order to notice that pattern you must have been watching the timestamps, nice catch. As for these Fukushima daily screen shots, others are welcome to do it.

If your using Window 7, there is a built in screen capture/cut program.

Go to the START button, open the drop down window and at the very bottom there is a search window. In here type "snipping tool" which might even be available in Windows 8, I only know for sure it is in Window 7.

Then after you have the screen shot you want to share/post you can use any number of the free picture hosting sites out there. Some require no install or even membership/sign-in.

When trying to posting the link/image on the forum, make sure it looks like this:

Have XP. There is another person and computer in home with 7. Will talk to them. I am not tech savvy at all, and am now trying to figure out if there is $ and capability (and willingness to attach 24/7) for a counter hookup. I think it important because I am in Fairbanks AK and the one monitor here appears to be private, but it's at the Airport? No EPA here? And unreliable. From the readings, though, it must be inside. . . I think. And it's running from 10 to minus 40 here. I guess a unit could go into someone's wellhouse - A lot of folks normally have a light bulb keeping it around freezing 32F/0C. Right now, I am just trying to watch trends. . . and learn.

There are free screen capture programs that you can use.

A program that I would use on XP was called HyperSnap. I think they still offer a free trial.
