I want to make sure I am understanding how to read your data. I found this data posted earlier this evening
List of RADCON-5 sites: 4:118 near Bangor, ME, US 61 2013-08-21 13:27:00 A 5:202 near Albany, NY, US 271 2013-08-21 13:30:00 A 4:211 near Edison, NJ, US 97 2013-08-21 12:49:00 A 4:310 near Pittsburgh, PA, US 243 2013-08-21 14:03:00 A 4:321 near Dover, DE, US 75 2013-08-21 13:03:00 A 5:501 near Chicago, IL, US 296 2013-08-21 13:29:00 A 4:513 near Cleveland, OH, US 164 2013-08-21 13:15:00 A
So based on what was said above, am I correct to assume that the numbers like 4:118 and 5:202 simply signify whether it is a beta or gamma monitor, plus a number that identifies the particular monitor? So does that mean that the numbers like 61, 271, 97, etc., are the actual radiation readings? Are these the actual radiation readings in cpm, or are they an indication of how much higher than the norm the radiation levels are?
Thank you
