Hello from NZ!

I've just plugged in using one of these kits, and dual SBM-20 Soviet tubes. A little experiment to see if it works.

The kit is a USB powered DIY Geiger Kit from here

https://sites.google.com/site/diygeigercounter/

I will set up a more permanent logging facility shortly, but in the mean time, shall keep the data in CPM. Average range here is from 30 to 60 CPM, with two tubes. If you don't see me, it is because I am either offline or testing - and suffering from having never enough time. Thank you for your patience!

Best Wishes,

Mike

Well ladies and gentleman, it was worth a try.
I have an incompatibility with the software to record correctly. It is recording 20 CPM more- roughly. I suspect it is how the software reads the data?

Suggestions welcome please!

Welcome to NETC! 8-)

I can't promise anything, but I will forward your request to the tech department. They might be interested in making the software compatable with this geiger counter, I beleive how difficult it will be is more likely the deciding factor.
