We just recently had a storm blow in from the Baja, Mexico area south to north and my station was going a little off it's norms for a few days.

Nothing like a new nuclear munitions plant in your backyard for a little rise in background radiation... I'm guessing. For a mere $700 million dollars and 2,730 new employees, you too can have a disaster in your backyard just waiting to happen. I particularly loved the way that none of the local papers (that I know of) saw fit to publish on this now completed National Security Campus complete with new atomic goodies to escalate the arms race. Missourians had to read about this in the New York Times! So much for the "nuclear-free-world" we were promised. Not much you can do about it now that it is a done-deal.
