This is a "call to arms" for anyone that has the ability to test for isotopes!!! We need you to help us test in the event of a high reading incident!!!! We are attempting to locate people all across the country that are ready to test for isotopes (scintillation) and will provide this list of testers to GM monitor operators. This will allow us all to know what actual materials (if any) are causing any super high reading. Ideally we need a network of local folks from all across the country to perform these tests quickly in the event of abnormal results from a GM monitor. You should be willing to test air filters and other components used in GM monitoring quickly if a abnormal reading appears. To have the ability to send these components as close to their location as possible for testing after a super high reading or malfunction is a must to prove or disprove any real or false threat from radiation. This list will enable a operator that has a problem with high readings to provide the necessary components to someone close to their location for fast testing. As we all know radiation is a situation of time and distance so the quicker a abnormal component gets tested the better it is for all of us!!! All testing of this type (scintillation) is not affiliated with http://netc.com Although I would like to see the results posted here, I am in no way inferring any affiliation with netc or or it's partners with these MUCH NEEDED tests. |
