What else can we do quickly (and inexpensively) to eliminate risks from our environment?
In one word, water. Water is the great mover of all things (grand canyon?).
You would be shocked to know what's suspended in all water everywhere!
Here's a quick Q and A statement from a water supplier...
"Is there lead in my water?
If present, elevated levels of lead can cause serious health
problems, especially for pregnant women and young
children. Lead in drinking water is primarily from materials
and components associated with service lines and home
plumbing."
http://www.amwater.com/ccr/kanawhavalley.pdfThis should be a "wake up call" to anyone that understands the moving power of water!
Chemicals, metals and even asbestos from runoff are in all water, treated or not!
You simply can't know or control what is trapped in your water after the long trip to your house.
So job 2 is to filter your water supply.
Water can (WILL at some point) contain Strontium, Cesium, Arsenic, Lead, Copper and so many other toxic metals (and materials) I simply can't list them all here...
Using distilled water is the only way to guarantee that you are consuming water (H2O) and nothing else. But this is a hard and expensive way to live.
The answer?
Purchase a under sink RO filter system and use ONLY this filtered water for cooking and drinking. Average cost is around 200 dollars US. They last for years and maintenance is minimal.
A VERY inexpensive health insurance policy!
